The course explores advanced topics of corporate finance dealing with the theory of the firm, incomplete contracts, firm valuation, mergers and acquisitions, private debt and private equity, venture capital, incentives and principle-agent problems, and corporate governance.

Prerequisites: Econ 211, (Econ 241 OR Econ 206), and Econ 253.
