ECON 441 - Advanced Topics in Finance

This course explores various topics in finance that will allow students to develop their own original research on topics including M&A, corporate governance, banking, capital flows, sovereign debt, risk management, portfolio management, market microstructure, market inefficiency, and regulation. Recommended preparation: ECON 351 and/or ECON 355. This course was previously taught as ECON 406.

Prerequisites: ECON 253, ECON 255 and at least one of: ECON 341, ECON 342 or ECON 343.
