HIST 264 - History Design Lab Digital Research Practicum
HCSSCI
2 credits This course will show students how to manage the many aspects of digital humanities research and scholarship. Students enrolled in HIST 388 will have the opportunity to join this 2-credit, half-semester course using Digital Humanities (DH) tools of their choice to create a final project that makes use of any combination of visual, spatial, temporal, quantitative and/or qualitative representations based on their research for HIST 388. These DH final projects will use discrete interactive components that exist alongside longer textual analysis that is public-facing and accessible. The practicum is P/NP.
Reserved only for students taking HIST 388 (must be taken concurrently).
