BUSI 250 - Entrepreneurship

This course introduces entrepreneurship as a dynamic phenomenon, career path, and mindset. Students will explore opportunity discovery, markets, customer needs, and value creation through business models. Topics include competition, core advantages, and financial essentials like pricing, profit, and raising capital. Modern approaches such as lean startup, hybrid entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and crowdfunding highlight innovative ways to launch and grow ventures. Case studies of successes and failures provide insights into practical entrepreneurial challenges. This course equips students with tools and strategies to navigate a rapidly evolving entrepreneurial landscape. Field trip(s) required.
