FCNSMAWADV4 credits This course will survey current research on cognition from psychology, neuroscience, and related fields. We will consider how different cognitive processes interact with each other as well as with the surrounding environment (or context). For instance, you may know that paying attention is important for memory, but did you know that our memories can also guide what we pay attention to? We will cover a variety of cognitive processes including attention, memory, and decision-making, among others. This course is restricted to PSYC majors only.
Prerequisites: PSYC 207 or PSYC 209 or PSYC 210 or PSYC 227.
