PSYC 227 - Cognition in ContextFC NSMA 4 credits This course offers an overview of foundational concepts in cognition research, with an emphasis on relating findings to our day to day life. Using an interdisciplinary lens examining research in psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive science, the course will cover both low- and high-level cognitive processes. Some of the topics covered include perception, attention, memory, learning, decision-making, language, consciousness, and reasoning, among others.
Prerequisites: PSYC 100 or NSCI 201 or COGS 101.
