FCSSCIQFR4 credits Students work directly with faculty members on ongoing economic research projects, gaining hands-on experience with the research process. Activities include literature reviews, data collection and cleaning, statistical analysis using modern econometric techniques, and research documentation. Students will also have instruction on the basics of different stages of research projects such as formulating a well-defined research question and hypothesis, conducting a literature review, and presenting results. Some experience with statistical software and econometric techniques is required.
