Readings and discussions will explore artists’ works that use language as a primary material, offering a historical and conceptual foundation that informs each student’s creative process. Emphasizing both technical skills and conceptual development, this course explores how language and visuals interact to convey meaning and engage with personal, social, and political spheres.
