LEAD 145 - Social Skills Development for Young Adults
CC2 credits PEERS® for Young Adults is a 16-week evidence-based social skills program for individuals aged 18-38, designed to help participants build and maintain friendships and navigate romantic relationships. Open to all students, it is especially beneficial for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, or social challenges. Throughout the semester, students develop practical tools for starting conversations, maintaining relationships, managing conflict, and setting boundaries. The program emphasizes hands-on practice, encouraging participants to apply their skills in real-world situations, fostering confidence and success in social interactions.
