In this course, students will be introduced to the practice of literary translation through workshops of different literary and cultural text types. We will reflect on the process and contexts of literary translation by reading major theoretical primary texts and linking them to specific practices. Each module will include readings as well as a translation workshop. Taught in French.

Prerequisites: FREN 301, 309, or 321.
