DANC 925 - Tasting France

Taste is both a cultural concept and a bodily experience. This course will introduce students to the way that food and wine create a particular social matrix for Parisians. We will visit local markets, practice discernment in tasting cheese and wine, and scout out the best croissants in the city. Taught in French. This course is held in Paris, and enrollment is limited to Oberlin-in-Paris program participants.
