The minor consists of a minimum of 5 full courses (or the equivalent).
Note: Students must earn minimum grades of C- or P for all courses that apply toward the minor.

At least two of the Russian minor electives must be taken at Oberlin.
FYSP courses taught by faculty in the Russian department can count toward the minor.
Students planning to study on a program in Russia should consult the Russian staff for a preliminary interpretation of such work in terms of Oberlin credit.
Students who place out of Intermediate Russian when they enter Oberlin may complete the minor by taking a total of 5 of the electives listed below.
