PHIL 122 - The Nature of ValueFC ARHU WINT 4 credits This course deals with central questions in ethics, aesthetics, and political philosophy, the three branches of value theory. These questions include: What makes an action right or wrong? What makes a state just? What makes a work of art or landscape beautiful? In order to answer these questions, we will consult key texts, compare forms of judgment, and critically engage with value problems.
