ECON 220 - Economics of Labor MarketsFC SSCI QFR 4 credits This course provides an introduction to theoretical and empirical analysis of wage and employment determination. We will develop economic analyses of changes in labor markets, as well as labor market policies, and consider the empirical facts and evidence about work and pay, mostly in the United States. Topics include labor supply and demand, education, health, income inequality, intergenerational mobility, discrimination, and immigration.
Prerequisites: ECON 101.
