FREN 102 - Français élémentaire II

This second semester of a year-long sequence builds proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Special emphasis is placed on meaning and the functional use of language and on understanding French-speaking cultures. The interactive multi-media approach requires extensive work in the language lab. In addition to the five hours per week of class, students are required to attend the French Table or activities at the Maison francophone on a regular basis. Students with previous study of French should consult with the instructor for placement.
