ECON 448 - Seminar: Economics of Housing and Real Estate
FCSSCIQFRWADV4 credits This seminar explores various aspects of real estate and the housing market through reading of microeconomic literature. Students will be expected to conduct and present an original piece of research. Topics may include: location choice, residential development, hedonic pricing and the valuation of housing, land use regulations and local government, the subprime mortgage crisis and its aftermath.
