FCARHUCD4 credits How can queerness be explored through the lens of movement and performance? In this critical inquiry course, we will examine how the intersections of creative practice; live performance; feminist, gender, and sexuality studies; and postcolonial scholarship ask us to contend with competing notions of the body, environment, and performance. Students will engage with the material through a range of embodied reflections. The class structure will also include reading, watching, analyzing, and writing about live and mediated performance.
