PACE 101 - Foundational Music PedagogyHC CNDP 2 credits This course is designed to introduce students to best practices for facilitating music teaching and learning in a variety of instructional settings. Topics to be explored include: the role of teachers, developmental markers of learning, strategies for assessing learning, curriculum development and lesson sequencing, establishing practice routines, teaching with technology, strategies for teaching diverse students, and issues of inclusive pedagogy. Open to College and Conservatory students. May be repeated for credit.
