ENVS 431 - Seminar in Sustainability in AgricultureFC SSCI QFR WADV 4 credits This seminar examines the sustainability of agricultural production in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world from the economics perspective. We will discuss what makes the food system sustainable: farmers’ incentives, government policies, and ecological and community issues. Students will write, revise, and present an original research paper related to these topics.
Prerequisites: ECON 251 and ECON 255. This course is cross-listed with ECON-431
