Course Requirements

• MHST 101 - Introduction to the History and Literature of Music  
• 12 Credits of Music History 200-Level Courses
• Eight credits of Music History 300-Level Courses

Declaring the Minor

• The minor is open to all students earning a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Music degree.
• Students interested in this minor must, before the end of the junior year, consult with the director of the musicology division to assure that the minor program is coherent and to receive division approval to pursue the minor.
